After three and one half years of miracles, revelations, a transfiguration, voices from heaven, daily seeing the healing power of God, resurrection of the dead, and even being used of God time and time again, the disciples then returned to their fishing boats. They were probably feeling condemned. Yet, in a matter of minutes, everything changed because of their obedience. Their nets were full again, confirmation had come, blessings were opening up, the bank accounts were full again, and the trials seemed far away. At last it’s working out!

As our hearts repent of bad attitudes and grumblings; we now have some understanding. Our confidence in God is restored. Vision and hope become clearer. Direction begins to unfold. That moment had come when God came back on the scene.

Now, Peter and the disciples said, “Yes” I believe! I can now conquer mountains again.”

Jesus said, “Come and have some breakfast. I even asked the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane, “If this cup can pass…never the less, Thy will be done.””

His father’s heart calls out to you! His compassion and understanding says, “It’s OK, I understand.”Look at his incredible love. When we have been faithless He embraces us to come and be restored. “Have some fish and bread and let’s talk and make plans for your future to conquer your mountains,” he says.

Can you identify with the disciples? Have you ever been where they were? Maybe you are there now. This is the heart of Jesus, calling us back to Himself, embracing us when we have blown it. He wants to encourage and restore. If we have denied Him, or been weak in faith, He is ready to forgive and move on.

So, if you’re spiritually tired and ready to throw in the towel, discouraged about your relationships, broke from the lack of finances, weak in your body, or discouraged in your spirit: Jesus is saying, “Cast your net out again, follow MY new instructions, try again”.

Look into the eyes of Jesus, be at peace, and be ready to obey!

  • It’s time to repent of wrong attitudes. Do it now in prayer.
  • Confess your sins to one another and get things right. Make that call or appointment.
  • It’s time to reconfirm your commitment to the Lordship of Christ. Tell someone your decision.
  • It’s time to say, “Yes, Lord, I will obey your calling, your word, and your Holy Spirit.” Take action. Do it immediately.

This is the time for multiplication, harvest, abundance, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. You can have a clear conscience with God.

“Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.” – John 3:21-22

He has a wonderful plan for your life.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Your nets are about to be full again to overflowing and even breaking.
