**Join us each month as we highlight an MEI supported missionary in the Missionary Spotlight. Our format is simple and is the same for each missionary, giving you a little bit of insight into their life, their mission, and some ways to support them as they spread the Gospel to all nations. We hope you will take some time to read through each of them and respond as God prompts you. If you have any questions or wish to contact or donate to a particular missionary, but don’t know where to start, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. **
MEI: Terry, tell us a little about yourself / your family:
Terry: Donna and I have been married 45 years. We have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. We live in Heredia, Costa Rica where we have lived 25 years. Our oldest son Jason works with us here in Costa Rica.
MEI: How / when did you feel God’s call on your life to full time missions? Were there certain events or people God used to get you there?
Terry: God called us to missions in 1985 through my uncle who was pioneering a new base in Miami, FL. He asked us to join his pioneer team and to focus on the Spanish speaking communities of Miami and Central America.
MEI: What is your ministry? Who are the people you serve and what are their needs? What are some highlights from your time with them?
Terry: Our ministry goals are to inspire our staff & students to have a passion for the lost and to equip them with the necessary tools to reach them. We accomplish this by providing them with both local and overseas opportunities to reach the unreached and the rural poor.
MEI: How can we as fellow believers support you (tangibly and prayerfully) on this journey?
- We need more committed long term staff.
- Finances to purchase the property $180,000.
- A new 15 passenger van to transport teams.
